Education

Bayardo Hannon Jirón is a certified jewelry professional with a lifetime of industry experience in Gemology, Manufacturing and Designing Fine Jewelry. In Baton Rouge since 1980.

• MASTER'S DEGREE IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION: (MBA) Escuela De Administracion De Negocios Para Graduados ( ESAN ). Graduate Business School. Lima Peru.
• BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN ECONOMICS. (Diploma 1), (Diploma 2) Honor Graduate. Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Nicaragua. (UNAN). Thesis title: "The Stock Market in Nicaragua."
• CERTIIED GEMOLOGIST APPRAISER (CGA) American Gem Society (AGS)

She is our main jewelry designer and also our production and quality control manager. She is at the heart of our system. Among other responsibilities, she oversees all steps in production, quality control and ensures that all customer requests for services are met on time.

We have full time master jewelers who work closely with and are supervised by Mr. Hannon. They are the artisans trained in fine art of creating jewelry in the Old World Craftsmanship style.

Ms. Jessica Cairo. Ms. Cairo is also one successful jewelry designer and a trained jewelry professional. She has GIA training with a diploma in Diamonds. She is also a Certified Sales Associate diploma with the American Gem Society. Ms. Cairo has successfully completed the Graduate Sales Associate course and The AGS Professional module. This designation also requires the successful completion of an annual Re certification Exam.

Debbie Douglas is our business manager. Mrs. Douglas is also a veteran and experienced professional in the jewelry industry with more than twenty years in management and assisting customers with their jewelry needs.

HANNON ACCREDITED GEM LABORATORY

An Accredited Gem Laboratory is a special designation awarded only to a qualifying AGS member firms that have proven their dedication to professional gemological identification in accordance with the Membership Standards of the AGS. Hannon Jewelers Gem Lab contains gemological equipment and extensive library and other reference materials in a dedicated space for research and analytical purposes.
